  5. Seperti biasa jailbreak akan menghilangkan garansi iphone anda.

  5. Tungu redsnow membuat custom ipsw, setelah selesai akan ada custum ipsw baru di folder exsisting ipsw yang didownload sebelumnya dengan nama NO_BB_iPhone3,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw untuk iPhone 4 dan NO_BB_iPhone2,1_5.0.1_9A405_Restore.ipsw untuk iPhone 3GS
  7. Kembali pada iTunes pada saat iphone keadaan DFU(a) Hold the Power button on iPhone down for 3 seconds:(b) Now simultaneously hold the iPhone and keep the two buttons pressed for 10 seconds:(c) Now release the Power button while keeping the Home button pressed until Redsn0w detects the device:
  12. Pilih Jailbreak
  13. Ikuti langkah untuk masuk DFU mode                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                             (a) Hold the Power button on iPhone down for 3 seconds:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                          (b) Now simultaneously hold the iPhone and keep the two buttons pressed for 10 seconds:                                                                           (c) Now release the Power button while keeping the Home button pressed until Redsn0w detects the device:
  14. Setelah masuk DFU mode, maka proses jailbreak dimulai untuk masukkan kernel etc.
  16. Jika sudah selesai, maka iphone anda sudah dijailbreak untethered iOS 5.0.1

Jailbreak iPod Touch On iOS 4.2.1 Redsn0w

Here are some important points to note before you proceed.

  • This guide is meant for iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS users who are interested in unlocking their iPhone using Ultrasn0w – a software method. iPod touch 4G and iPod touch 3G users can checkout this guide, while iPad users can checkout this guide.
  • If you don’t care about unlocking your iPhone and/or preserving the baseband then checkout this step-by-step guide.
  • This guide is meant only for GSM iPhone users.
  • This guide is only applicable if you haven’t upgraded to iOS 5.0.1.
  • Redsn0w 0.9.10b1 supports an untethered jailbreak.
  • Please note that jailbreaking your iPhone may void your warranty and hence proceed with caution and at your own risk.
  • It is always a good idea to take a backup of SHSH blobs using TinyUmbrella (Windows and Mac) or iFaith before upgrading to iOS 5.0.1 so you can downgrade to the current version if required.
  • Please do not forget to backup your iPhone before you proceed. You can refer to this post for instructions on how to backup your iPhone.
  • If you’ve jailbroken your iPhone then you can use jailbreak apps such as AptBackupPkgBackup or xBackup from Cydia to take a backup of all the jailbreak apps and tweaks so you can reinstall them easily after successfully jailbreaking your iPhone rather then installing them individually. However, since you’re moving from iOS 4.x to iOS 5, it may be a good idea to reinstall the jailbreak apps to avoid compatibility issues.
  • After the jailbreaking process is complete, do not forget to checkout our article on tips to keep your iPhone secure.

How to Get the Untethered Jailbreak Using Corona Untether 5.0.1

After weeks of anticipation, the iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak is finally here, compliments of pod2g, Chronic Dev Team, and the Dev Team. As we explained a little earlier today, you currently have two ways to untether.

Depending on your situation, you can either run the latest version of RedSn0w, or if you’re already jailbroken, you can use the Cydia package called Corona Untether 5.0.1 to do the job. This is what we’ll focus on in this post…

We realize there isn’t much to Corona Untether 5.0.1. It’s fairly easy and straightforward, but to make things very clear and simple for everyone, we thought we’d have a dedicated post for it.

First and foremost, you should definitely make sure to read our post about the iOS 5.0.1 untether. It has all the details you should know.

Who should use Corona Untether 5.0.1?

Anyone running a tethered jailbreak for iOS 5.0.1 may use this Cydia package to untether. That means that if your device is running iOS 5.0.1, and that you have a tethered jailbreak, then Corona Untether 5.0.1 is for you. Supported devices include the iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPhone 4 CDMA, iPad 1, iPod touch 3G, and iPod touch 4G.

How to untether?

Because you’re already running a jailbroken version of iOS 5.0.1, the untether process is going to be fairly easy for you.

Step 1: Launch Cydia and search for Corona Untether 5.0.1.

Step 2: Tap “Install” and let Cydia do the rest of the job for you.

That’s all there is to it. You can now safely reboot your iPhone, iPod, or iPad without the need of an external tool such as RedSn0w to boot tether.
